Project Description

The LAX 2017 Airline Relocation Enabling Project, was planned to allow the relocation of our Owner from Terminals 5 & 6 to Terminals 2 & 3. Additionally, the thirty-two (22) airlines occupying Terminals 2 & 3 were to be moved to Terminals 5 & 6 concurrent with our Owner. This was the largest airline relocation in aviation history.

Services Provided

• Prolégo’s primary role as Owner’s Representative included:
• Expansion of Existing Terminal 2 CBIS
• Install (2) Inbound Transfer Load Positions
• Install (1) FIS Claim Unit
• New T3 Outbound Make-Up Unit for Other Airlines
• BHS Server Update for Common Use Infrastructure
• Re-Control of T3 Upper Level Controls
• Install (1) Terminal 3 Outbound Transfer Pier
•   Modify (2) T6 Existing Inbound Conveyor
• Re-Route T6 Ticketing Conveyor to Terminal 5
• Demolition of T5 Conveyor
• T2 & T3 RFID Installation
