Overview

New $50 million elementary school to accommodate expected growth across Angleton ISD and provide relief to other District schools including Frontier Elementary School which is near capacity.

New $90 million Jr. High School to accommodate expected growth in the District while reducing the student count at the current Jr. High School. The new Elementary School and Jr. High School to be combined as a single building to reduce redundancies and costs.

$12 million in improvements for the current Elementary Schools and Jr. High School including replacement of carpet, playground repair and other necessary improvements where needed to address academic and general facility needs.

$9 million in demolition, removal and renovation to outdated buildings and facilities, including the demolishing and removing of the old transportation center, repairing Marshall Memorial and renovation the Marshall building. Will also include renovation of the unusable parts of the current Jr. High School and demolishing and repairing parts of the old abandoned High School.

The bond program includes $7.5 million in contingency funds should needs or added expenses are covered as the projects are completed.
