Russ Wallace has served 43 years in the architectural and construction management industry and is one of the most experienced public education facilities management executives in Texas. He has consistently sought to leverage his expertise in facilities management practices with innovative business practices to develop organizations that are recognized in the industry as client-focused, technically competent and results oriented.
Russ was formerly Chief Facilities Officer for the Texas A&M University System Office of Facilities Planning & Construction. He was responsible for all aspects of planning, budgeting, design and construction of the A&M System’s facilities, planning and construction program. During his 14 years at TAMUS, Russ oversaw the completion of 295 projects totaling more than $9 billion. Prior to joining TAMUS, he served as Director of Facilities Design & Construction of Clear Creek ISD in League City, Texas. He was responsible for oversight and implementation of the district’s 2004 and 2007 facilities bond programs that included more than 35 projects totaling $447 million.
In addition to his B.S. in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University, Russ earned his M.B.A. from University of Houston-Clear Lake.
