Janelle Johnson has joined Prolégo Consulting Solutions as Director of Business Development. Prolégo is a Houston-based program management company and wholly owned subsidiary of Satterfield & Pontikes Construction. In this role, Johnson will lead and support the new and existing focus markets for Prolégo, which includes K-12, Higher Education, and Aviation.
Johnson brings over 13 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry. Formerly serving as the Business Development Manager at Skanska, Johnson played a pivotal role in driving growth and success for the company. She spearheaded the business development and pursuit strategy for an annual pipeline of approximately $100 million in total project contract values for the region. Among her significant achievements, Johnson directed the pursuit strategy for prestigious institutions such as Texas A&M University System and Rice University, further solidifying her reputation as a trusted partner for major educational clients.
Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising from DePaul University. She is a FAA Part 107 Certified Drone Pilot and USGBC LEED Green Associate. Johnson is on the Communications Committee of the Construction Owners Association of America.
