ROY SPRAGUE ELECTED AS CHPS CHAIRMAN

We are delighted to announce that Roy Sprague, Senior Vice President of Prolégo Consulting Solutions, has been elected to serve as the Chairman of the Board for the Collaborative of High Performance Schools (CHPS). Sprague has served on the board for 12 years, with the last three as the Vice Chairman.

CHPS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that strives to create high-performance school environments to give students equal access to the best education possible, while also focusing on the mental and physical well-being and safety of students.

“Working together is crucial when you are solving a problem as big and complex as school performance in school districts around the country,” said Sprague. “Each of which has different facility types, internal resources, and community priorities. The diverse capabilities and perspectives that CHPS has and continues to bring together is one of the organization’s biggest strengths. Collaboration is part of their name for an important reason.”

With an impressive 42 years of experience in facilities management & construction, Sprague has shown exceptional expertise in leading complex operations, overseeing more than 3,500 employees. As COO of Cypress-Fairbanks ISD (CFISD), he managed over $5 billion in bond programs, resulting in significant upgrades and new construction for CFISD K-12 facilities.

Sprague’s numerous contributions to students, schools, and the community have left a lasting impact, so it should come as no surprise that the CFISD Board of Trustees have named Roy J. Sprague, AIA Middle School in his honor, marking a pinnacle achievement in his career.

Prolégo is proud to be associated with Sprague and looks forward to future involvement with members of CHPS.
